Building Simple Forms
Simple forms are often needed on websites to be able to quickly gather data from your users. Common use cases include: contact forms, webinar registrations, newsletter sign ups or feedback surveys. All forms on the site are built with a WordPress plugin called Gravity Forms. Check out this library of available templates for just a taste of some of the things you can do.

Best Practices for Building Forms
- Keep it short – only ask for the fields you truly need. If in doubt, leave it out.
- Clearly mark which fields are optional vs. required.
- Use a single column layout.
- Explain any input or formatting requirements – Ex: If asking for an account or license number, give a sample of how this number should be formatted.
- Write error messages that are clear and easy to understand.
- Don’t ask for personally identifiable information including: Social Security Number, driver’s license, financial information, or medical records. Sensitive data must be collected via secure means, not through Gravity Forms.
